About Us
BEEN aims to strengthen environmental education across Bedfordshire by bringing together the organisations that provide it.
By working collaboratively, the network will:
- connect environmental education providers and encourage the sharing of knowledge, experience and best practice;
- build a clearer picture of the environmental education opportunities available across Bedfordshire;
- identify gaps, opportunities and ways to improve provision;
- strengthen collaboration between organisations without creating unnecessary additional workload;
- share information about funding opportunities and identify areas where a collective approach could have greater impact; and
- promote environmental education opportunities and raise their profile across Bedfordshire.
