Supporting Bedfordshire’s Everyday Heroes

We were pleased to support the Bedfordshire Independent’s Everyday Heroes Awards on 7 May, sponsoring the Young Carer category, which recognises the resilience and commitment of young people who provide care and support to others.

Our Chief Executive Officer, David Morris, attended the event and presented the award, celebrating the achievements of young carers from across the local community.

We are especially pleased that James and Chinaza from Cauldwell School, part of our Trust, were shortlisted as finalists. Their nomination reflects the important role they play at home, alongside their positive engagement with school life.

The evening was a valuable opportunity to recognise the contribution of young carers across Bedfordshire, and it was fantastic to see Cauldwell pupils acknowledged in this way.
